Terms of use

The short version: the prices on this site are real, the portfolio is real work, and using this website doesn't commit either of us to anything, a project only starts when we've both agreed it in writing.

Using this site

This website is run by Castleberg Digital, a web design and hosting business in Settle, North Yorkshire. You're welcome to browse, share links to it, and use the forms to get in touch. Please don't scrape it, misrepresent it as your own, or use the forms to send spam.

Prices and quotes

The package prices published on the pricing page are genuine and current. A price only becomes binding when it's confirmed in a written quote for your specific project, which is also where anything unusual about your requirements gets priced up front rather than discovered later. Payment terms (50% deposit, 50% on go-live, monthly plans billed from the month after launch) are as stated on the pricing page unless your written quote says otherwise.

Portfolio and client work

Sites shown in the portfolio are real client projects, shown with the client's knowledge. Screenshots of client sites remain the work of Castleberg Digital; the businesses, brands and trade marks they depict belong to those clients.

Content and copyright

The design, code and copy of this website belong to Castleberg Digital. Don't reuse them without asking, although if you'd like a site like this, that's rather the point of the quote form.

Accuracy and liability

I keep this site accurate and current, but it's general information, not advice tailored to your business, decisions you make based on it are your own. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited (like liability for fraud). Links to other websites are provided in good faith; I'm not responsible for their content.

Client projects

These terms cover using this website. Actual client work, like builds, hosting and care plans, runs under the written scope and agreement for each project, which covers ownership, revisions, timelines and payment in full. You'll always see that in writing before any money changes hands.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
